I work with industry, startups, and academic partners to translate research into practical outcomes—from process and architecture reviews to longer-term innovation programs. Engagements are tailored to your constraints, whether you need a focused technical assessment or support across design, integration, and deployment.
Areas of focus
- Intelligent manufacturing, automation strategy, and Industry 4.0 roadmaps
- Digital twins, sensing architectures, and data-driven quality systems
- Computer vision and embedded inspection for production environments
- Human–robot collaboration and mechatronics system design
Whether you need a technical review, a feasibility study, or a multi-phase collaboration, we can scope the work to match your timeline and objectives.
Industrial robotics — Klune Industries
While on faculty at California State University, Northridge (2015–2017), I consulted for Klune Industries on reprogramming an industry-scale Fanuc robot to meet a defined production goal. The photos are from that Klune / Fanuc engagement. Completing that work was a major milestone in industrial robotics and programming—alongside the robotics and manufacturing courses I was teaching at the time.
